Our Christian Education Committee offers
a variety of learning experiences for all ages.
Kids – Preschool through 6th grade children meet at 9:45 a.m. in the Christian Education Building for lessons, crafts and music. They sing in church a few times a year, and always perform a Christmas program and for Youth Sunday in June.
Communicants’ Class – Young people wishing to join the church are instructed with denominational curriculum by the pastor and the head of the Christian Education Committee.
Vacation Bible School – Depending on enrollment, some years we combine with other churches. Other years, we meet on-site for educational games, crafts and lessons.
Adults – Pastor Emeritus Rev. Tim Logan brought back Calvin Fellowship, which was popular during his tenure here. He now offers fellowship, Bible study, discussion and movies at Calvin Fellowship every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. (during the school year) downstairs in the church.
Fellowship Breakfast – Everyone is invited to a delicious breakfast before their classes every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. (during the school year) in Fellowship Hall.
Pastor Classes – Depending on other offerings, the pastor offers adult Sunday school classes during Lent and Advent.
Off-Site Learning – A new concept for our church, the pastor offers Wine and the Word, a monthly book club and/or Bible study. We’re always open to new ideas for new classes!
…We continue Christ’s ministry in the world by nurturing the faith of persons of all ages through worship, warm fellowship and Christian Education…
