Our Spiritual Formation Committee offers
a variety of learning experiences for all ages.
Kids – During school year, Preschool through 6th grade children meet after brunch (9:15) in fellowship hall around 9:45-10:40. There are crafts, games, and lesson. They typically perform kids Christmas program and are involved in church program for Youth Sunday in June. In summer, we are involved with a Vacation Bible school program with other local churches.
Teens- Our church is involved with local Lake Erie Presbytery youth gatherings. We typically have 3-4 different options and gatherings each year for youth to participate with other local youth. Additionally, we typically have a communicants class every year or two where youth are instructed with denominational curriculum by the pastor and other spiritual church leaders.
Adults (and teens)-We have several different options for spiritual growth. Each spring or fall we have a larger themed Bible study typically offered during week in afternoons. Additionally, throughout the year we have “Wine and the Word” which typically meets on Zoom on Sunday evenings and is topical Bible Study and discussion led by Pastor. Finally, we offer during school year, Brunch and Movie where we meet before church for fellowship and brunch at 9:15. After brunch we gather to watch part of Christian movie followed by group discussion about movie.
We are always open to further ideas and options as we value the nurturing of the faith of persons of all ages through worship, warm fellowship, and Christian Education.
